Orders & Fulfilment tracks the complete lifecycle of a purchase or booking — from payment confirmation through fulfilment or appointment — across separate dimensions. Payment state, fulfilment state, and booking state are tracked independently.
The problem
A single "order status" field cannot capture real-world complexity. A paid order can still be awaiting fulfilment. A delivered order may enter a dispute. Collapsing these into one state hides what's actually happening.

What it does
Independent state dimensions
Orders & Fulfilment separates the lifecycle into distinct tracked dimensions: payment state, fulfilment state (for product orders), and booking/appointment state (for service orders). Each dimension advances independently.
A paid order can still be awaiting fulfilment. A delivered order may have a separate dispute or refund process open. Neither state automatically changes the other.
