A Family Wallet is a shared-money environment for household needs. Members contribute to a common balance. The owner and admins oversee spending requests and approvals. Each member sees only what their role permits.

The problem it solves

Managing household money across multiple people without visibility into what's been spent, what's pending, or who contributed what. Family Wallet makes contributions, approvals and balances visible to the right people.

Who it's for

Households where two or more adults share financial responsibility — couples, extended family members sharing living costs, or any group with recurring household expenses.

Worked example

Ada and Tobi's household.

Ada contributes ₦120,000. Tobi contributes ₦80,000. Total wallet balance: ₦200,000. An approved grocery expense of ₦35,000 leaves ₦165,000. Tobi has a pending ₦20,000 request — not yet deducted.

Child member role
